We are an independent roadside café situated on the A65 at Newby, North Yorkshire. The location of the cafe means that if you are visiting The Lake District to the West, Dales National Park to the North or Forest of Bowland to the South this cafe is well worth a visit to relax and enjoy the delicious food in a very comfortable, welcoming friendly environment.
The food is an eclectic mix of simple classics such as French onion soup and modern exciting recipes such as spiced shoulder of lamb with flat bread and cucumber dip. The coffee is sourced from Lancaster coffee suppliers, Atkinsons which have won awards for their roast winning blends. The kitchen is open planned so customers can see delicious food being prepared by Edward.
To find the cafe, all you need to do is to look for the steel sculpture of a goat standing on a a large piece of granite created by Andrew Kay, a local sculpture.
